About Me
My name is Sophia Karpouzas and I am passionate about educating people on how and when to use an Epi Pen. I began this project as a sophomore in high school after being in a position where an Epi Pen was necessary in order to save my life. At the time, I didn't know how to use one, and was fortunate to receive prompt medical care. Currently, I hold my Anaphylaxis and Epinephrine Auto-injector certification from the Red Cross. Being in a situation where I did not have the life-saving knowledge of how to use an Epi Pen is something I would never wish onto anyone else, which is the inspiration behind this epiinfo website.
I am continuing this endeavor throughout my time at Boston University, and on my journey to becoming a physician. My hope is that this resource will benefit those who need information on how and when to properly use an Epi Pen.
